Welcome to the Global Impact Survey 2025!



Thank you for being part of the Impact Hub community and for participating in our survey!

Whether you work from Impact Hub every day on your idea; grow and scale your project or venture through one of our programmes; are a regular attendee at community events; or mentor or partner, your feedback is important to us. We know your time is valuable and really appreciate your participation.

The following Impact Survey includes questions about your work and organization, impact, and membership experience. We will be asking for your name and email, but you can ask to remain anonymous at the end of the survey. Please plan approximately 10- 15 minutes to complete the survey, depending on your role and connection to Impact Hub. There is an option to save your responses and resume at a later point.

A special note to our dear co-founders and/or senior managers: we will be asking you for information about your team and your finances in 2025, so you may want to get that information before starting the survey.

The Impact Survey is being conducted globally and addresses 25,000+ members around the world. At the same time, we also survey the 1,800+ staff and volunteers at Impact Hubs. 

Results

The results enable us to evaluate and demonstrate our collective impact as a network. This allows us to enhance our network’s credibility and visibility with partners, supporters, and more.

The survey results also provide feedback and insights, which allow us to design and improve new and existing Impact Hub services. For some of last year’s results, have a look at our 
Global Impact Report.


The survey remains open until the 20th of May 2026.

Why do we collect and use your data

We conduct a survey among our global community on an annual basis in order to gain insights into our community's work and impact, which allows us to identify common support needs, improve our services, measure our impact, conduct further research, and report to our partners.

How long will your personal data be processed
On an annual basis we review the security and necessity of the storing of data sets collected through the surveys and accordingly will take appropriate measures like the anonymization or deletion of data sets.

What data will be collected and used
Personal data we collect includes name, email address, age (by age group), gender.
Data about your organization we collect includes name, legal form, number of employees, revenue, and investment generated.

Legal basis for processing your data: Consent

Who will have access to your personal data
Involved personal data might be shared with:
– Your local Impact Hub.
– Partners and funders in aggregated form (on slides or dashboards).
– The wider public in aggregated form (in the Impact Report)

Transfer of data to a non-EU/EEC country or international organisation, and safeguards
All survey data will be transferred to your respective Impact Hub, unless you ask to remain anonymous. In this case we will exclude email and names before sharing with the local Impact Hub.
